In order for the whole workforce to be competitive and not left behind by evolutions in technology, adult learners need to have access to ways they can add essential skills and exposure which prepare them for the current and future world of work.
In an ever-changing and ever-evolving workforce, a large swath of adults can often end up feeling left behind. That’s why the Council for Adult & Experiential Learning will convene in the Windy City to promote, discuss, and innovate the ways in which adult learners can add essential skills and work exposure to their resume and personal toolkit in order to be competitive applicants in the job market of today and the near future.
Discussing How to Advance Adult Learners at CAEL 2022 Annual Conference
Each year, at the CAEL Annual Conference, education and industry specialists connect to advance and expand the participation of Adult Learners in skill-building and experiential work exposure to ensure they are job-ready. The tagline for CAEL resonates perfectly with the core goals of Virtual Internships, where we aim to bridge the gap between education and work and specifically make sure that underrepresented groups are able to achieve the same level of work preparation as undergraduate students following the traditional path.
Engaging with the broad cohort of worldwide students, Virtual Internships’ Deborah Morrison will be participating in the CAEL Annual Conference in Chicago, Illinois, November 16-19th 2022.
